Celebration of Independence Day:

 Bangladesh was declared as independent on 
March 26, 1971. People of all walks of life got involved in the liberation war that 
day. On the eve of Independence Day, Radio Boral inaugurated its own program 
with full flags. The day was followed by discussion meetings and cultural events.
